Consulting Operation Manager

 

We are a leading safety consulting company dedicated to providing comprehensive safety solutions to our clients. Our mission is to help organizations ensure a safe and secure working environment for their employees. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice and Quality Manager to join our team in the UK. The Consulting Operation Manager will play a critical role in managing various aspects of quality assurance, technical support, product management, and learning & development within our organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and solutions to our clients.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and clients, addressing technical inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and technical advancements, and keep the organization informed about relevant technical updates and updates to the portfolio of products and services.
  • Oversee the product management process, ensuring that products and solutions meet the specific needs and requirements of our product standards and clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product design improvements and enhancements, incorporating standards and best practices.
  • Establish and maintain quality control measures to monitor and evaluate the performance and conformance of our services and solutions.
  • Develop and implement a competence management system to ensure that employees possess the necessary skills and qualifications to deliver high-quality services.
  • Provide technical management supported by a technical team and support to ensure the successful implementation and execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Identify learning and development needs within the organisation and design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge in safety consulting.
  • Monitor and analysis of quality metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in safety consulting and incorporate them into the organisation's processes and systems.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and or exposure in a relevant field (e.g., Safety Management, Quality Management) is required; Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, technical support, product management, and learning & development within the safety consulting industry (an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, HSG 65) and best practices.
  • Excellent technical aptitude and ability to provide effective technical support and guidance.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in using software and tools.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality services and solutions.
  • Self-starter that focuses on progress not just tasks
