As a Fire Safety Engineer at Ark Workplace Risk, you’ll be responsible for providing expert fire safety recommendations to a range of clients across the low-medium risk built environment. This could include;
- Creating fire strategy solutions across a range of sites (varying in complexity) within the built environment and development
- Designing fire management plans
- Undertaking fire risk assessments, compartmentation surveys and fire door survey
- Design client programs and execute for preparedness tests for emergencies or safety evens and test them
- Provide coaching and support with regards to technical fire advice
To be successful in this role, you will have a BSc in Fire Safety Engineering or Fire Engineering and hold relevant fire safety qualifications and ideally either be a member of IFE (GIFireE) or IFSM (MIFSM).
In addition to your qualifications and extensive experience in undertaking fire risk assessments, you will bring strong interpersonal skills and report writing abilities as well as a comprehensive understanding of current UK regulations.

These roles have a national remit and will be required to travel outside of London from time to time, so it’s important you have the flexibility, and willingness to travel as required.
